Inside the rooms are opulent and the staircase is great to stand and pose on! The bridal suite is amazing with huge bathroom an a view over the whole back of the hotel.
The Golf House is where the reception is held later in the evening with a balcony overlooking the golf course. You are spoilt for choice.
Have your wedding at Cliff at Lyons. Cliff at Lyons (Formerly The Village at Lyons) is a restored historic village on the banks of the Grand Canal in Celbridge, Co Kildare.
You can be snap happy! The gardens are stunning with a walled garden, impressive fountain and lake, a waterfall, mill, dovecoat, bridge, stone courtyard and buildings, and don’t forget the orangerie or even the round window!
Inside, the rooms are very tasteful with expensive furnishings and 17th century fireplaces. The bridal suite is a treat!

There are many attractive corridors with mirrors, rose petals and fine furniture. You can choose to have your wedding in the original house or in the larger Thompson suite.
Carton House is just a mile from Maynooth village and is a little world of its own. On the way into the estate is the famous shell cottage decorated inside and out with shells. Its such fun for the bridal party to take a golf cart and visit the waterfall which is such a lovely backdrop for photos.
At the back of the House there are beautiful trees and lawns, golf course, stone walls, sculptures, manicured gardens and arches.
If the weather is poor on your day, there is still natural light with beautiful furniture and rooms such as the Saloon or the Chinese Room. Every couple wants a photo in the modern part with the spiral staircase leading into the fabulous reception room.
The bridal suite is large and ideal for photos with a fun free standing bath – great for a photo the morning of the wedding!

Barberstown Castle is a picturesque castle built in the 13th Century and now is a four star hotel in Straffan, Co Kildare.
Walking into the reception room is like stepping back in time with triangular windows, wooden panelling, and candles. If you are lucky you can cut the cake with a sword!
The adjoining glass room is great for photos, as it has natural light and leads out to the gardens. Every couple want to use the castle tower in a photo, while the gardens with the old house and park seats, is great too. So much choice when it comes to your wedding photos!
