Do a double take and yes there are some interesting animals on their grounds, including llamas, rams, horses and some animals I dont even know the names of! Its worth taking a trip over to them for a photo as they don’t seem to bite! Inside, the main entrance is light and airy for photos with a balcony to look down at the all the guests enjoying themselves.
There is a intimate back garden out the back for family photos so plenty of choices for some stunning pictures.
The Glenview Hotel is located in Delgany, Co Wicklow. The gardens overlook breathtaking views of the Glen of the Downs. You can walk down the steps to the main grassy area for photos with the trees, sculptures and little bridge. There is a forest area too.
Inside the reception area with fireplace is lovely for photos and of course the staircase. It is an intimate friendly hotel.
The Glenview Bridal Suite is large with adjacent rooms for photos and a floor to ceiling window to view the Glen of the Downs.
Killiney Castle is a four star 18th Century castle located in Killiney, Co Dublin overlooking Dublin Bay.
The gardens are very ornate at the front with shrubs, large trees and plenty of grassland. At the back of the Castle is a small terraced garden as well for photos. They post up your names if you are getting married outside the entrance which is nice for a photo moment.
Inside the main entrance, the pillars and marble flooring and natural light is super for pictures.
The wedding ballroom is very impressive with a fancy staircase and sofas for some relaxed photos. There is even a knight in shining armour at the door!
Thomas Prior Hall is a hidden gem in the centre of Ballsbridge. A masonic school originally in the late 19th century. The wedding coordinator showed me where some of the girls had engraved their names in the oak panelling of the main ballroom!
The hotel won hotel venue of the year for Leinster region this year by Weddingsonline.
The facade of the orange brick makes for great photos outside with the white fountain and big oak tree.
Inside the impressive ballroom with large windows and chandeliers and wooden hidden bar at the end of the room is fabulous. You can go up to the balcony and look right down into the room.
The modern part of the hotel with glass ceiling is lovely too for natural light photos and guests can hang out chatting. A great city centre location for a wedding!
