Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort is a picturesque hotel with spectacular views over the Blessington Lakes and the Wicklow mountains. The hotel also boasts a beautifully restored 18th century manor house where guests can enjoy a drink during the reception. The ceremony suite looks out over the fabulous golf course. After the ceremony, newleyweds can take a golf buggy or walk to the lakeshore for some stunning photographs. The courtyard has been recently renovated and provides a cosy outdoor area for photos too. Indoors, the manor house or the modern hotel makes for a lovely indoor photo backdrop.
Glasson Country House and Golf Club is a four star stunning hotel in Glasson, Co Westmeath. The sweeping driveway with golf club is a beautiful backdrop for photos. At the back of the hotel you can see the lovely lake shimmering in the sun.
The bridal party can have fun and take a golf buggy down to the bridge and the edge of the lake for some images. If it is raining, the old part of the house is sheltered for photos.
Inside the hotel is modern with a spiral staircase, all with natural light. The banqueting room is quite large and again allows for great views of the lake.
Johnstown Estate (Formerly The Johnstown House Hotel) is a Georgian house in Co.Meath with a fabulous water feature in the front of the house which is a must for a photo. The back of the house has lovely gardens, trees and shrubs with a wedding pergola.
The old rooms have mahogany doors, fancy ceilings and bar. The modern glass section is even better for photos with loads of natural light, a grand piano and fabulous high glass staircase. You wouldn’t want to be afraid of heights!
Summerhill House is located beside the cute Enniskerry Village which is so quaint for photos, especially the clock tower. You can also take a trip to Powerscourt Waterfall if you wish as well.
Coming into Summerhill House is the beautiful tree lined driveway. The light shines through the trees and creates dappled lighting for photos.
We also use the House itself with the steps and red carpet. Family photos can be done in the manicured gardens with the fountain. Inside the House, we can photograph on the 1st floor and do some aerial style photos into the reception area. The bar makes for candid photos of guests and the room adjacent has lovely bay windows with a free standing mirror.
The food is good too!
Clonabreany House at Crossakiel, Co Meath has rolling countryside which is beautiful for photos. There are loads of pathways to walk through and arches for photos.
The courtyard is stunning and has newly restored coach houses with a little cosy pub. For larger weddings, the Grand marquee with palazzo floor makes for great indoor photos too.
