Wedding at Cliff at Lyons

Wedding at Cliff at Lyons

Laura and David planned a mid summer intimate Wedding at Cliff at Lyons.  It was so intimate, they wanted to get married in the tiny chapel which rests on the lily fountain pond.  With the chapel restricted only to a small number in attendance, the remainder of the guests enjoyed sitting outdoors on the lawn, ready to greet them on their exit.

Laura and David have the lovely Jude who is about 9 months old.  Laura got ready in the Love One cottage for their wedding at Cliff at Lyons.  I arrived to see Laura opening up so many little gifts with message tags from her groom.  I knew then, David was quite the romantic.  My good friend and amazing hair stylist Claire was there to make sure all the ladies looked stunnning for the day.

David meanwhile was in a house near the lily pond, and was with friends who distracted him with ironing shirts!!!  David looked very wow in his white jacket.  The lads teased him that his shoes might hurt for the day, but David later informed me they were like gloves!!!

It was stunning to see the bridal party walk over the bridge to the Cliff at Lyons chapel.  Laura and David were very lucky to have family members do all the floral displays at the chapel,  bouquets and button holes and even decorate the main table in the Cliff at Lyons orangerie.  The flowers were truly stunning and so in keeping with the natural landscape for a wedding in Cliff at Lyons.

Jude their son managed his toddler walk up the chapel aisle to present the rings.  And once the ceremony was over, the guests were all primed to throw the beautiful confetti cones organised by Laura.  It took some time to remove the confetti from their hair to start our little photo session around the grounds of Cliff at Lyons.

With the Child of Prague having done his job.  The sun shone and we made use of most the areas including the courtyard, the Mill, the fountain, the canal,  and the round window.  They also took some time out to chat to family and friends and enjoy some family time with Jude, who seemed non-plussed by his parents big day…..
