There is no denying that laughter makes for beautiful photos so we all adore candid photos. But it’s good to have some pointers for those less spontaneous moments.
Stand up Straight. This may bring you back to your parents telling you off for bad posture but it will make you look slimmer and more elegant.
Avoid the dreaded double chin syndrome. Even the skinniest among us can look as if their chin is nearly touching their chest. If you keep your chin up it lengthens the neck. But don’t overdo it – you don’t want to look like a giraffe.
Don’t drink too much the night before. You don’t want to wake up the morning of the wedding puffy and bleary eyed. Do you really want your photos taken with a hangover?
The eyes are the windows of the soul. Don’t feel you have to be wearing a grin from ear to ear for every photo. It will only look forced. It’s actually better to let your eyes be the main centre of attention.
Just relax and be yourself. All we really want to capture are those incredible moments between the two of you and they can never be planned.
