Dervla and John have three most beautiful daughters: Amelia, Maya and Ava that were so excited about their parents Wedding at Midlands Park Hotel. They were counting down the days on the calendar. On the morning of the wedding I never saw so many balloons in one house. What better backdrop to open up a bottle of champagne and do some dance moves before heading to St Conleths Church in Newbridge.
The lads got ready not too far away and John’s dad John Snr was making sure before they left in the vintage bus that he fed the stray cats!
With a dad and step dad it was lovely to see them both accompany her down the aisle to greet John for the first time. After the church ceremony, we took some photos by a weeping willow tree beside the church, which had only been trimmed that morning. It was nice to take a photo of Dervla’s granny Margrette in front of the church, as she had got married there herself some time ago.
Before heading to the wedding at Midlands Park Hotel, we took a detour for some photos at Emo Court with the stunning neo classical house in the background. The kids had a quick stroll in the driveway before we headed on our way to the celebrations.
After a hectic schedule, it was nice to enjoy a glass of customised prosecco before heading in to see the amazing main room. Decorated with a stunning lit up loveheart with their names and date of their wedding at Midlands Park Hotel.
The speeches were fun and emotional. Loved hearing some of stories, one that stuck in my head was John with his mates at the age of 12 sprayed lynx all over, even on their fingertips to disguise the smell of cigarettes so as not to be caught. Clever thinking – Batman! We left them to enjoy the late night festivities, as John said it was time for Dervla just to kick back and enjoy their wedding at Midlands Park Hotel.
