Summer Wedding at Killashee House Hotel, Leyna & Davy
Leyna and Davy have been on a covid journey to finally get to celebrate their summer wedding at Killashee House Hotel. With a previous winter wedding planned elsewhere and multiple possible dates, they finally got to celebrate their wedding in Kildare.
Leyna’s excitement was infectious and there was a great buzz when she was getting ready at Killashee House Hotel. Her son Noah and daughter Erinn were there and were keeping her in great spirits. While her poor mum kept shedding a tear once Leyna got into her wedding dress.
Leyna and the kids surprised him by adopting “Pinguins” not Penguins from Dublin Zoo, an internal joke over his thick accent!!!!
So touching to see Erinn play her mum down the aisle and see Leyna and Davy unite together. You can tell they are a very close knit family.
Once the intimate wedding ceremony at Killashee House Hotel had finished, we saw some of their friends waiting outside to congratulate them and have a photo taken.
Then, we strolled around the grounds at Killashee and enjoyed photos by the fountain, in the woodland and the front of the house.
So magical to see some of the drawings Leyna’s students did for her. In class, they had explained what love meant, and some said it was things like sharing your pasta!
The only drawback may have been missing their cat #Tom and dog #DouglastheDote, but at least they had them replicated on the bottom of their cake! To see more photos from a Summer wedding at Killashee House Hotel, click here.
