A picture perfect Wedding at Westbury Hotel, City Centre Dublin
Lovely Aoife and Stephen. Yes, they had plan A, B and C. They were originally July 2020, then October 2020 and then settled on March 2021.
Like all couples, they were living from announcement to announcement by the Government. But once they set their date, the excitement started for their specialĀ little wedding at Westbury Hotel. Stephen got ready that morning in their own home and with the help of fun loving Wayne, he got to grips with putting on his tie.
Meanwhile, Aoife and her lovely bridesmaid Meabh were in Aoife’s parents house in Swords. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere at the house, with a small select number of friends popping by to wish them well and have an outdoor photo.
With having a level 5 covid wedding and only 6 guests allowed attend the ceremony. It was so nice to see a small group of extended family and friends gather outside the church just to give them a warm cheer.
The wedding was live streamed which was a nice touch. And the newleyweds were so happy to walk back down Saint Patrick’s Church in Donaghmore, Ashbourne as Mr and Mrs.
We found a lovely lane beside the church with stone walls and spring daffodils for some family shots and couple photos before we all headed into enjoy the wedding at Westbury Hotel.
Once Aoife and Stephen had enjoyed a glass of champagne, we headed out to the Dublin City Centre for some wedding photos. With a trip down Anne Lane for some umbrella shots and of course a quick stroll up and down Grafton Street and through Stephens Green.
With all the well wishers in Dublin City Centre delighted to hear a good news story, we all enjoyed the buzz. We headed back to the comfort of the Westbury Hotel, with everyone looking forward to enjoying a dinner served to them!

What a fabulous idea this is, so great to follow Stephen and Aoifes wedding day, looks like a great time was had and they look so happy and made it the very best day despite all restrictions and difficulties surrounding having a wedding these days. We were happy to be able to take part watching from afar and wishing we were there with them. Wishing you both all that you wish fir yourselves . Dec and marxx
