Laura & Karl’s Garden Party style Sunny Rathsallagh House Wedding
When I met Laura & Karl I knew they were going to have one hell of a party on their wedding day at Rathsallagh House. Karl works in event management so he was going to kit out their venue with a mobile cocktail bar and put their own stamp on Rathsallagh’s famous banquet room. Laura’s passion is for acting and musicals, so she wanted to entertain their guests with some amazing dance routines! They were so lucky to their dream Sunny Rathsallagh House Wedding.
Well they did not disappoint and the sun actually appeared just to top it all off!
We had great craic in the morning in Laura’s house in Crumlin, it soon filled up with well wishers; neighbors; family & friends, all there to watch as she came down the stairs in her glittering wedding gown. The boys were getting ready in Bray and then headed to Laura’s local church in Crumlin to await her arrival.
Laura was walked down the aisle by her mam & dad and given away to Karl. We all had a laugh when Laura kept blowing out her candle by mistake. Third time lucky it stayed lit for her! They said their vows while their guests watched on and their flower girls yawned, haha and finally emerged from the church as Husband & Wife.
Their guests were spoiled with ice cream outside the church and cocktails on arrival for the sunny Rathsallagh House wedding! Everyone stayed outside and their was a real summer garden party vibe to the day. We took some photos with Rathsallagh’s famous tree and then headed off into the woods for some more photos with the delicate white wild flowers. Perfect for wedding photos!
The party was just getting started and somehow the two of them managed to persuade their whole family in to taking part in a mini musical entrance! They have some talented friends and family their groomsman Chris stole the show singing the greatest show! The speeches were brilliant too, Karl got his own back on a friend who said he wouldn’t have a chance with Laura!! While Laura had her friends tearing up with her emotional speech. The happy couples first dance was amazing as expected and choreographed to a T. They were joined by the bridal party for one last blow out on the dance floor! So much work went into their routines! We took a quick break from the madness to get a nighttime photo with the rathsallagh tree and then i left them to party the night away!
Thanks for a great day Laura & Karl X
