Introducing a large Knightsbrook Hotel Wedding for the lovely Kim & Martin
With Martin being a true lad from the country, the farm work doesn’t stop for a wedding, and Kim told me Martin was ploughing and sowing the week of the wedding. But, we had to give him credit, he was there in style to meet his bride at the local St Marys Church in Ardcath. Kim lives in the country equidistant on both sides to the local Ardcath village. The village is so quaint; consisting of a church and the local pub, but I was told by the locals, it is full of community spirit. And we can vouch for that, Ardcath has it in bucket loads. But, the two stars of the Knightsbrook Hotel wedding day, were Anthony, their son, who was so close to taking his first steps and then there was their gorgeous dog, Billy at Kim’s parents house.
Kim looked stunning in her wedding dress by Edel Tuite offset by the bridesmaids in lilac. Kim was driven in style to the church by her dad in his super cool morris minor, festooned in the county colours! We worked alongside Shane Prunty Films. The morris minor decided to make itself known and needed a bit of a push. Kim and Martin as expected stopped off at their local with many of their friends and family before heading off to Trim for their Knighstbrook Hotel wedding. Once at Knighsbrook, Kim and Martin came in to the main room to check out the fabulous cake by Nan Tucker cakes and then enjoyed a drink with all the 280 guests. It wasn’t long before the pair of them got some family shots at the staircase at Knightsbrook Hotel and of course a Knightsbrook chandelier shot! The staff duly ducked under the counter for this one. We even managed to gather all the 280 guests under the staircase for a group photo before we left our lovely couple to enjoy their dinner and nighttime festivities. Let’s hope Martin didn’t plan to get up that early the next morning to do his farm chores…… For more photos of Knigtsbrook Hotel weddings, click here.
