How could Aoife and Enda not choose a Marlfield House Wedding in Co Wexford?
As Enda said, “Little did Aoife know when she left for Cork from Wexford at the age of 10 years old, she would meet a Wexford lad and marry him” This day arrived on December 15th. It may have been the day of Storm Deirdre with rain pelting down and high winds but it didn’t stop the warm buzz and festive cheer of all the guests.
. Enda got ready nearby at Seafield hotel while the girls enjoyed a chilled morning at Marlfield House. The Making faces team from Gorey and Gary k were on hand to style all the girls. How beautiful the dress looked on the window behind them just waiting for Aoife to put it on. They got married in a local church in Riverchapel and it was lovely to see Aoife being driven there by her brother. On our return to Marlfield house, we managed to use our powers of persuasion for the bridal party to stand outside for 5 minutes to have the wonderful conservatory as a backdrop for a few photos. Inside, we were spoilt for choice at a Marlfield House wedding with amazing rooms, like the print room, entrance hall and bedrooms. The speeches were before the meal and Aoife,s dad had joked that it would be amazing if Aoife could stay quiet all that time. It was fun hearing about the two of them, I loved when David Enda’s brother said in the early days of them going out, they headed out for afternoon tea. David said he fell around laughing that he would have never considered his brother “an afternoon tea man”. The day just flew by and it wasn’t long before they were surrounded by everyone near the fabulous croquembouche cake and then into dance the night away. And I am sure they had an amazing honeymoon in Sri Lanka, Abu Dhabi and the Maldives. For more photos from Marlfield House, click here.
