Rathsallagh House Hotel Wedding for Bronagh & Paul

Paul from Co.Armagh & Bronagh from Co.Down went all the way to Sydney Australia to find each other! They were living in Oz and got engaged but decided to come home to get married with all their family & friends. They chose  a Rathsallagh House hotel wedding.
Paul got ready in Tulfarris hotel with the lads while Bronagh got ready in Avon Ri with the whole family in tow. One thing you need to know about Bronagh and Paul is that they’re wine obsessed! Paul’s gift to his wife to be in the morning was not the usual boring jewellery, no no, three huge bottles of wine. He knows the way to her heart! They even had a wine themed seating plan, made from wine bottles and the table names were Vineyards they had both visited.
Bronaghs gown from La Boda Bridal was so elegant with long sleeves and lace touches she added herself.

The ceremony was in the church in Pipershill, Blessington and the October sun came out and it turned out to be such a beautiful day. It was a gorgeous ceremony and we could all see how happy they were to be getting married to each other.

After the ceremony we headed to the Valleymount Bridge for a windy walk and to take in the amazing view over the lake. We were stopping traffic but hey, it’s your wedding day you can do what you want right? On to Rathsallagh House where the guests were relaxing by the open fires.

We managed to get everyone together under the window for a group shot, and the guests headed inside while Bronagh, Paul and their Bridal party got some photos taken as the sun was going down.

We captured a really special moment after the speeches, Bronagh’s Dad Dermot opened up a bottle of brandy which he bought 28 years ago. He had vowed to save it for his daughters wedding day. The bottle was opened and the room filled with the aroma as the families made a toast to the happy couple. Bronagh and Paul were well up for coming out in the cold for a photo under Rathsallagh’s famous tree (maybe the brandy helped),  before heading back in for their first dance, and the partying kicked off .   We left them as they danced into the early hours. Congratulations Bronagh & Paul, super wedding at Rathsallagh House!

It was in essence a fun filled Rathsallagh House Hotel Wedding with family and friends for Bronagh & Paul
