Emily & Daniel’s colour pop Dublin City Centre Wedding at The Morrison Hotel
Emily and Daniel chose the sophisticated Morrison Hotel for their relaxed wedding, which was, they told me, long overdue. A fully fledged couple, they’ve set up home in Artane, near Emily’s parents. Emily & her best friend and bridesmaid, Lorraine, got ready there the morning of the wedding with the couple’s pride and joy, cocker spaniel ‘Darcy’. The whole family arrived, including Emily’s Nephew Rian in his amazing gold jacket and cons, and there were tears of joy for Emily’s big reveal as she walked down the stairs in her Wedding dress to her Mam and Dad. Daniel and his brother (and best man) Sam arrived at The Morrison and greeted the guests as they waited for the arrival of Emily & Darcy! The ceremony was very personal with readings from both sets of Mums and Dads, and music played by Emily’s sister in law Maja. After the ceremony, guests had a drink while we headed out onto the quays for a few photos in the strong Autumn sun. We were getting beeps and waves, and even advice for the newlyweds from passers by, you gotta’ love a Dublin city centre Wedding. Emily told us we had to go and have a look at their Penthouse room overlooking the Liffey before we left. Emily and Lorraine had a great giggle jumping on the bed! We left them as the sun went down to go and start the evening celebrations. Congratulations to them both!
