As Rory is well known for saying “Job Done!”. We can vouch that Alex and Rory got the job done in style at Rathsallagh recently. They both got ready in Rathsallagh and then headed to the nearby church in Dunlavin. With Alex being the only girl in the family, we could tell the brothers Scott and James are very protective of Alex. It was so lovely to see Scott’s reaction when he saw Alex in the dress for the first time! Scott had first met Rory in Boston and said Rory was amazing, full of charm and charisma.
With it being such a cold day, we had to use our line of “we are wedding photographers of the year” to persuade them to come outside to the garden for some photos. Rory kept telling me “we had 5 minutes!” So, we cracked on and got some nice shots in the woodland and around some of the grounds of Rathsallagh before heading in to the warmth of the House. We were blown away by the elegance of their wedding. The flowers by Lullabelle Flowers were stunning. The cake was a work of art, created by Cove Cake Design. As for Alex’s dress, we loved how it moved so freely with her and offset the bridesmaids black dresses. The evening entertainment was great fun with the Celtic Rhythm Dancers performing and encouraging the guests to get involved. Then, Alex and Rory got up to dance and so cute to see Alex and her dad Mark follow. We left them to enjoy the rest of the evening. The newleyweds were off on a mini-moon to Tenerife before the Beast from the East arrived to Ireland. They escaped the snow! Though, I hear their parents were not so lucky…..
