Noelle & Michael met in UCC almost 10 years ago! It was Michael’s first day and apparently Noelle caught his eye. Noelle hails from Cork while Michael is from the native Gaeltacht of Inis Mór. It was great to hear him speak to his Groomsmen in Irish on the day, but made me wish I’d paid more attention in Irish class! The happy couple are living in London and decided to have their wedding in the stunning Castle Durrow. Noelle wanted a very classic elegant look to her wedding and Castle Durrow was perfect. Noelle chose Blush bridesmaids dresses and muted colours for her wedding bouquet, her stunning dress was designed by Kathy De Stafford, no one had seen the dress until the day not even the bridesmaids!
We headed to the The Church of The Most Holy Rosary just a few minutes from Durrow. Noelle was surprised that she wasn’t that nervous when she arrived at the church with her Dad, she was just happy to be marrying Michael. We loved the signs on the back of their chairs that read “Better together”. Back in Durrow, we stopped in the picturesque driveway to take advantage of the tree lined avenue. We popped out the back for a quick photo shoot before the weather turned a bit. Guests mingled in the epic gold room and chilled in the bar. In the dining room, the details were again elegant, with a pale pink floral cake and best of all, a huge cheeseboard! We left them to party the night away with one last shot on the staircase!
