Jennifer and Tiernan came home from Perth, Australia for their wedding. They both are from Kingswood in Tallaght and Tiernan knew she was the one as she was the first girl who when brought out for dinner, finished her meal and finished it before him! As Tiernan joked himself, she was on a ten year trial period before he proposed to her on the sea cliffs in Western Australia. He was very romantic with a trip to a winery, rose petals, bunch of flowers and champagne, followed by a lovely dinner. They chose Mount Wolseley in Carlow to celebrate their wedding day. And as Jennifer said she was looking forward to her first kiss as husband and wife, as “we started our relationship with a kiss. It will be nice to see how far we have come and that it will be sealed with a kiss”!
Jennifer described Tiernan as the “Midnight Cowboy” and always turns up late but not today. He was waiting for her to arrive at Mount Argus Church in Harolds Cross. The flower girls Grace and Hayley and page boy Conor were all ready to greet Jennifer when she arrived, even if the sign was upside down! After the ceremony, we gathered everyone for a group shot before we headed off for the trip to Carlow. The trip proved more exciting than planned. We met the limo on the n81, broken down, at the side of the road. The engine had overheated. Jennifer took it all in her stride and just poured herself another glass of champagne. We waited a while for a replacement car for the bridal party then headed on to Mount Wolseley. After the drive, the kids were delighted to get the chance to run around the gardens and Jennifer’s dad John joined in the fun by chasing them. We got some family shots organised and then a few bridal party photos by the pretty archway with Video Me. And since Jennifer had said one of the reasons she chose Mount Wolseley was for the stunning titanic-esque staircase, we said why not end on a photo there? We hear they had an amazing honeymoon in Vietnam and Cambodia and hope to stay in Ireland as Mr & Mrs.
