Noife and Shane were together 3 years before Shane asked Noife to marry him while on holidays in the Maldives. With stepkids on both sides of the family, the pair of them wanted to blend the two familes together as one!

They chose to celebrate the day at the amazing Tankardstown House in Slane. With Noife’s interest in organising events, the wedding was the perfect project to plan. The morning of the wedding, I photographed all the girls in Navan, with Noife having her sister Lisa as bridesmaid along with her 3 daughters Zoe, Emer and Emily. They all looked stunning, especially Noife in her bridal dress from Amara Bridal. Anna went over to photograph the boys. Shane had their son Jake who is 11 years old as the bestman.

Noife and Shane had planned either a humanist ceremony outside in the walled garden at Tankardstown House or in the main conservatory. It was decided that morning to choose the conservatory. It was just as beautiful as the garden, full of stunning flowers by Moire in Dunshaughlin. As Noife said herself “you cant have a wedding without flowers”!

After the ceremony, guests drifted out into the gardens as the weather improved and enjoyed listening to music and sipping prosecco on the lawn. We took some family photos out by the main house and Noife and Shane couldn’t resist a go on the swing. After all the photos we went back into the main room to see all the DIY decorations that Noife had done. We loved the honey with the “Meant to Bee” theme. The cake with 3 layers of Rocky Road, Carrot and Lemon looked a winner. But the best suprise was to hear that Noife parents Paddy and Lily were celebrating 67 years of marriage. Noife told me she couldn’t even find a card that marked that number of years together!!! Lets hope Noife and Shane get to celebrate the same number of happy years together.
