Louise and Gavin were together for about 3 years before Gavin proposed to Louise on her birthday. They wanted a Blessington wedding and chose the scenic Tulfarris hotel for their ceremony and celebrations. Both of them got ready in the hotel beforehand in rooms quite close by so we had great fun making sure we both were not on the balconies for any photos beforehand. Louise had a fun morning being pampered by the Powder Room Girls and looked amazing when she put on her wedding dress from Ciara Bridal. Gavin wore his Scottish kilt colours as he is from Aberdeen.
Louise is very organised so was not late for the ceremony. It was a very intimate and personal ceremony and all the guests headed outside after the ceremony under the balcony to give us a chance to do a group photo and a photo of all the guys in kilts. The guests enjoyed drinks at the Manor House while we went over to the lakes with Cathal Farrelly, their videographer for some scenic wedding photos. With an obvious golf connection, we loved the golf ball with their names on it. A great place to put the wedding rings on for a photo.
After some family shots, we gathered all her friends for some fun photos too. We were keen to see the cake as Louise made it herself! A great talent to possess – lucky Gavin! We left them to enjoy their evening. Rocking to the Rubix band. Let’s hope Louise got a slice left over of her wedding cake as a keepsake?.
