Stephen met Glenda in a bar. And said it was genuinely love at first sight. And as he said in his speech, he knew this was the girl he would marry! On their first date, Glenda managed to convince a shop assistant to sell her a bottle of wine after the 10 pm time restriction. Stephen popped the ‘marry me’ question while on holidays in Malta. They both decided they wanted a castle wedding and chose the fabulous Cabra Castle to celebrate their day.
The wedding preparations that morning was in Cabra Castle. We had to do a double take as Stephen has an identical twin brother Alan who was the bestman! Glenda is brazilian so would chat easily between Portugese and English with her four bridesmaids. We had the fun loving Eduardo helping that morning to dress Glenda, he told us he has helped Beyonce dress while in Miami. So, she was in capable hands!
The Sacred Heart Church in Kilmainhamwood looked stunning, with fresh flowers over the archway and giant cherry trees in the pews, all decorated by Magic Moments. We headed back to Cabra Castle driveway and captured the couple by the tree. We were working closely alongside Cathal Farrelly and his team who flew a drone to get some stunning aerial shots of them both.
Back in Cabra Castle, all the guests including Glenda and Stephen were entertained by the magician Andy James. We then captured some family shots and left them to enjoy a few drinks before dinner and speeches and the cutting of the five-tier wedding cake! They danced the night away to the Madisons, the lead singer was on the Voice of Ireland a few years ago and they loved his voice. Then, the newleyweds were planning a trip to Dubai and the Maldives.
