This wedding was very special to Couple Photography. Ros is a friend of Triona and her fabulous horse Apollo, as they are both members of Cheval Riding Club.

Rob and Triona met in Dandelion at Halloween through their friend Karen. Karen thought they be cute together because of their similar heights! Triona said she had a fall that day off Apollo and had taken some painkillers before Karen dragged her out! She put a brave face on and it happened to be the night she met her man!

Rob proposed to Triona when they were on a weekend break at Kellys in Rosslare. He persuaded her to take a walk on the beach in her heels and got down one one knee to ask her. She was so surprised, she didn’t even look at the ring he put on her finger.

Rob told me the ring was made especially for Triona, he was worried it wouldn’t be ready in time and he was very worried he was going to lose the ring in his bag on the day. But, it must have been meant to be as the sun peeped out from the rain clouds just when he asked her to marry him.

Triona and Rob wanted an urban city centre wedding. Triona told me her dad used to bring her on sight seeing tours around Dublin at weekends. She wanted a destination wedding in her hometown of Dublin. Hence the church in Stephens Green and dinner in Suesey Street, Fitzwilliam Place.

Triona got ready in her family’s apartment along the quays, with absolutely stunning views from of Dublin from the top floor! Then, we all headed off into Stephens Green. The ceremony went well and we were greeted by a big red vintage bus to take us all for a few drinks at The Vintage Inn in Ringsend. This pub is full of charm and character, well worth a visit! The bridal party and ourselves got back on the bus and travelled to Sandymount village for a few snaps. We ended up playing footie with some local kids in the park! Then off, for another photo in high heels on the beach with the Poolbeg Towers in the background. We joined everyone back at the Vintage Inn for a few drinks and everyone headed back on the bus again to Fitzwilliam Place to our final destination of Suesey Street.

An action packed fun day, just what Triona and Rob had wanted!
