It was only right that we do an engagement shoot for Orla and Paul at UCD college, since the two of them met at the UCD college Ball over 7 years ago. Lucky Orla was in romantic Paris when Paul popped the big question.

On the wedding day, Orla got ready at her parents house in Dundrum and her mum fed us the best sandwiches ever. We were admiring the goldfish when Orla told me they had goldfish for 20 years when they were small and they were called Stena and Sealink!!!

We headed off to the very pretty Church of Ireland St Philips in Milltown. The very glamorous Rev Sonya officiated at the mass. As the wedding was late November, the autumn colours in the church grounds were just magical. Most of the guests took the luas into the city centre for the reception at the Shelbourne Hotel. Anna travelled with Orla and Paul in their fancy wedding car. Orla told me that her parents met in Morrisey’s Car Company so it was an easy choice to have a wedding car from them on the day.

Orla and Paul are a kooky couple and had us laughing the whole time, we never knew what was going to happen next. Anna and Orla and Paul stopped off at their favourite vintage tea room Wall & Keogh on South Richmond Street for a refreshing cup of tea, much to the shock of the other customers there!

We went back to the hotel for family photos, and the start of the Christmas buzz was apparent in the Shelbourne. But the highlight was walking along busy Stephens Green late in the evening to visit the Little Museum of Dublin for a few shots with the bridal party. They opened the museum up especially for us, and we all enjoyed looking at all the artifacts there.

They had booked The Beat Boutique for later and even had a silent disco. Their cake was colourful like the two of them with Mario and Peach on the top! The only one disappointed not to be there was probably Caspo their cat!
