Anna and I were a little early for dropping over to Christina’s house the morning of their wedding. So we decided to pop down to her church to get a few shots. When we arrived, the preparation by the community for the couple was of the highest order! They were literally out with the paintbrushes doing finishing touches and cleaning windows. We were very impressed and thought it might be because Christina’s mum is mayoress of Sallins. Later the priest told us the church has just been redecorated and they are the first couple to see the newly decorated church!
Christina must like flowers as John had done a lot of work in the garden at their house for the wedding and Christina’s mum surprised her with a beautiful flower display over the church door.
After the ceremony, we headed in hot pursuit of their beautiful white Rolls Royce car to the amazing Killashee Hotel. We stopped off in the driveway to get some photos with the car. The weather was misty but no wind so we photographed in the fabulous gardens. The bridesmaids wore cute knee length dresses that were made for twirling!
The newlyweds are now enjoying their honeymoon in Sicily and will be heading to the Amalfi coast. NICE!
