Adelina decided to leave her parents in peace for the morning and pop down to a friends house down the road for her hair and make-up with all the bridesmaids. It was a fun morning, with music playing and champagne being sipped.
We rushed back to Adelina’s parents house for her to put on her wedding dress. This gave us a chance to see her childhood bedroom with all her toys and books still there! So we couldn’t miss taking a few snaps!
We travelled from the southside over to All Saints Church in Raheny for a beautiful Church of Ireland ceremony with some great hymns and readings. Little Erin and Aisling, the flower girls were as good as gold during the ceremony. Once outside the church everyone chatted and relaxed. We had some fun tieing Adelina and John up in some bunting they had especially for the Big Day. Then we headed off to Slane to the stunning Ballymagarvey Village.
A pitstop to a local field was planned and we decided to ignore the ‘No Trespassing’ sign and the bridesmaids with Adelina posed by a country gate and everyone danced down the country lane. A sight for any farmer in the neighbourhood. Adelina and John took a small stroll in the field and John showed his strength by carrying Adelina in his arms.
Back at Ballymagarvey during the drinks reception, the groomsmen with John decided to make a run for it!
Adelina and John had some more scenic photos in the gardens. We loved it when I asked Adelina to come around the stream to get a photo, but she decides to take the shortcut, and hopped over it. Glad she didn’t ruin her dress or those fabulous Irregular Choice shoes she had!
The pair of them were very proud of their wedding cake, having done it all themselves. It looked so sweet – just like the two of them!
